Handmade card: Fishing for wishes

This card was created for someone who loves to fish. Even though it is a masculine card I thought it was only fitting I add a few dimensional bling to the fishing lure. Some of my extensive stash of wood patterned paper came in handy.

The picture I had in mind, when creating this card, was that of an old comic book with the different frames inside each page. In the past I looked forward to fishing trips with my family and I believe I brought that across in this card. The recipient is a new co-worker, who told me he relaxes by going fishing in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

I look forward to your suggestions and comments, or you could always email me if you would like to see me create anything special for you and yours.

Canine card: Schnauzer

Where yesterday's card was ALL girl, this is an ALL boy card. He strikes me as a little pampered doggie who protects his house and humans. In his closet I bet he has a few spiffy outfits for every occasion. He loves going out on play dates but it may take awhile for him to share his toys. He's got a secret that I wish I could know.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I trust you enjoy this unique handmade card.

Card: Graduation 2009

You know time has flown by when someone you feel is still your "little" niece graduates from high school. Yes, it happened and I almost started bawling when I saw her walk on the stage to pick up her diploma. Where did the time go?... It seemed like just yesterday when I was bawling at her elementary school graduation, LOL!

Card: Whimsical card

The sentiment on the sticker made me smile and I chose a whimsical color combination to go with it.

Mini Book: Nurture Your Soul

My brother just started a new job and I thought since he was going through a little slump I would make him a mini book that would inspire him and act as a good luck charm. On this SU On Board Bitty Book I used Sandylion Patterned Paper (PIRATES TREASURE MAP), Frances Meyer PP (WILDWOOD BOUQUET), Liquitex Basics Acrylic Paint (MAGENTA Quinacridone), We R Memory Keepers PP (BOHO CHIC WHIMSY WILD), Sticko Label Lingo stickers (ZEN LABEL), Sticko Style Getaways (Travel Abroad), 7 Gypsies gaffer tape (BROWN double-stitched), Stampin Up rubons, and Fresh Cuts Accents (VINTAGE TRAVEL).

Treasured Times accordion mini album

I know what you must be asking yourself.... Wow, 3 videos in one day?! What can I say once I realized how easy movie making was I got hooked. This is the last one for today though. I need to get some REST. This mini album I created for my cousin Anthony who is coming to Florida to visit me. A little back story, though.... I have never met this cousin in person before. My mother and aunt met him while in New York. Blue skies will usher in the first of what I hope to be many more REUNIONS with that side of my family.
