Wonderful Wednesdays: Copper friends

In this installment of wonderful wednesdays I choose to try something I had not done before.... stamping directly on the cardstock. It was one of those instances where you just take a deep breath and say "whatever happens, here goes!" LOL
I chose a stamp that I could color (bringing to mind my childhood days of coloring books and crayons).
Enjoy!!
Cardstock: Stampin Up Kraft
Specialty paper: White glossy
Stamps: SU Time well spent
Inks:Tim Holtz Distress (broken china, vintage photo)
Pens: Sakura Souffle, Krylon Copper Leafing
Embellishments: Flowers and Pearl Beads from SU's Pretties Kit
Ribbon: Offray

Cards: Crystal Fantasy

When I purchased the limited edition Prima Say It In Crystals flourishes (blue/purple) I knew I wanted to create something unique. In my stash I found this Karen Foster PP which I embellished with a blue Sakura Souffle pen. The flowers and brad used are from Stampin Up's Pretties kit both distressed with chalk inks. I recently received the new Stampin Up ALWAYS stamp set and I thought the phrase was perfect for this card. As you have seen in some of my previous posts I love to embellish chipboard, so I stayed true to form. I used a small heart from SU's On Board Elements pack and colored it with Purely Pomegranate classic stamping ink and a white Signo pen.

Cards:Thanks a bunch

Stampin Up fresh cuts card with patterned paper in Wild Wasabi. The ribbon is also Stampin Up (Purely Pomegranate) double stitched ribbon. Add a few rubons and mix in a souffle pen... and PRESTO! -- That scallop edge punch is a big time saver.

Cards: You make me happy

This is one of my new favorite Stampin Up products (Fresh Cuts cards #111882). I used leftover SU Berry Bliss paper, Prints pack paper in Apricot Appeal. I embellished the card by punching it with the new SU scallop edge punch. The rubons are from SU's Love & Happiness pack which I colored with Sakura Souffle pens. The finishing touch was SU's Turquoise grosgrain ribbon. This card makes me HAPPY.
