September ATC cards

For this month's ATC cards I had to think how I was going to incorporate the theme (Dimension & Texture). I found some free 3D brushes of gates/grasses online (dimension, to me) and then with my Cuttlebug's textile embossing folder added the texture. A big thanks to Marion for going above and beyond last month, specially since she has not been feeling well.

Scrapbook: Cherish Memories

After learning my passion for old photos, my friend emailed me a photo of his family taken in the 1950s (I think!). I printed the photo on a transparency and attached it to white cardstock to allow all the little details to stand out. I really think it is a perfect frame for his family photo.
Cardstock: Stampin Up Wild Wasabi textured, DCWV scallop white core,
Bazzill earthtones textured
Patterned paper: Creative Imaginations Golden Floral
Ribbon: Michaels
Flowers: Prima
Embellishments: Rhinestones, Button, Heidi Swapp journaling spot,
Making Memories square clip

Scrapbook:Baby Girl

When I started this layout I knew I wanted to give it an ethereal and whimsical feel. I embellished the clear Heidi Swapp butterflies with alcohol inks and acrylic paints. Once they dried I attached them (painted side down) and added Hambly butterfly white rubons. The color palette is all Stampin'Up Simply Scrappin' Special Delivery girl. I added some DCWV Pocket full of posies glitter paper, brads, sticker quote, and a few more Hambly rubons at the corners.
