I loved the quilted embossed look in these stickers. The layers I added with paper and dimensionals.
When I saw this stamp I knew I wanted to use it on a romantic card. It features two types of embossing (regular on the stamp & UTEE on the chipboard square).

I apologize for totally missing the boat on my WONDERFUL Wednesdays last week. For this week I decided to make it a wonderfully sparkly Wednesday. ENJOY!
Stampin Up has launched online ordering to assist customers. It will not do away with the assistance I can provide, however it gives each customer 24/7 access to catalogs and special offers.
My goal this week is to create super SIMPLE colorful cards. For those that know me understand this is a big stretch, since I tend to fret over each project. I have been known to embellish projects to within an inch of its life. This self imposed project is to take my creativity to a new level. Next week I will move onto a new goal.
Hurricane Ike is currently bearing down on the eastern coast of Cuba. I pray everyone is safely sheltered.
I spent most of yesterday shopping for hurricane supplies and making sure my car was fully gassed up. Believe it or not there were lines at the gas station yesterday. After 3 hrs of traffic jams in the aisles of my local Super Walmart I finally got home.
I wanted to create a funky colorful card that included some embossing. My passion for UTEE had to be featured in this card. To paraphrase Martha Stewart "It's THE GOOD STUFF!"

This is one of my new cards using the Stampin Up goodies I received.
These photos are courtesy of my cousin Anthony Isambert. His beautiful doggie, Mikey, is in the photos with former NY Giant DB Michael Strahan. I could not resist creating this page using the old Budweiser catch phrase (Wassup!?).
After learning my passion for old photos, my friend emailed me a photo of his family taken in the 1950s (I think!). I printed the photo on a transparency and attached it to white cardstock to allow all the little details to stand out. I really think it is a perfect frame for his family photo.
On Friday I received my first order from the new Stampin Up Fall-Winter catalog. I ordered the new In Color paper (Pacific Point is my favorite), square scallop punch, On Board scallop frames (bulk), Say it with scallops stamp set, Accents & Elements Felt Fusion Too, and the yummiest looking KIWI KISS satin ribbon. I will be posting some cards and scrapbook pages soon!
My favorite drink is 4C Green Tea and recently I began buying these tall canisters instead of the single packets. I liked the plastic canister so much I decided to take the labels off and try to customize it with alcohol inks and paper.
This is my submission to a Color Me Daisy challenge. The guidelines were to use a BROWN and BLUE color combination. I used my photos (30 years apart).
