Today I was fortunate enough to spend the whole day with my, soon-to-be-17, niece. I decided a young lady of 17 needs to have quality makeup and clothes. We had an awesome day at the Galleria Mall shopping at Charlotte Russe and Sephora. We both loved trying on all the fun makeup at Sephora. We got some awesome jewelry and clothes at Charlotte Russe. The day we capped off by going to a sushi restaurant and eating the most delicious sushi and sashimi. We are both stuffed but glad we had this quality time together. My niece's favorite find was this skull and cross bones embellished brown cap with beaded pink heart eyes.

A new paintable paper CREATION!
The Paintables Prima paper I used for this layout is so FUN to work with PLUS I had the perfect inspiration (the photos of my cousin Jenna). She is an inspiration not just because she's my cousin but she is such a devoted mother, loving wife, encouraging sister, caring daughter, and amazingly talented photographer. I did not tell I was creating this layout, but I hope she will like it.

Thanked!
Today I opened up a wonderful package containing my order from wonderfully creative Donna Salazar
I find myself among the fortunate people to now own a few pieces of her artwork. I went on her Etsy shop and purchased these gems. I can hardly wait to use them in a few of my projects. They are gorgeous camo fabric flowers, and dictionary scalloped paper that I was unable to photograph.
Thanks, Donna!

Chalk it up!
I love how the scrapbooking industry has brought out a brand new set of companies. While browsing through YouTube I found a video on this company, Tilano.
They have created these wonderfully COLORful chalkboard paints. They also sell these amazing coaster and tile kits.

A new view of myself
I have reached a milestone in my transformation. In December I was barely fitting into a size 16 and as of this week (March 3rd to be exact) I am comfortably wearing a size 10. I have been consistently working out since January and to see these type of results so quick has me tickled pink. Don't get me wrong some days I have felt like I could not wake up early to go to the gym, BUT I forced myself to go. The results are wonderful and I have so many people to thank for mentoring, encouraging, and praying for me. I look forward to displaying the new me in the very near future. Thanks to all my blog friends and my scrapbooking friends. You all inspire me to be a better version of myself.

A little heart
This is a little detail of the fabric wrapping I created for the previously mentioned mini baby album commissioned by FickleZeal Photography. Again that little gem looking heart I found in the unlikeliest of places (Wedding Favors aisle at Walmart). I love my Crop-A-Dile so I decided to thread the embellishment through a word eyelet that says "delightful, adorable, charming". The whole illusion that the heart is about to drop in the hand was totally unplanned... One of my fortunate accidents.
