After a happy day at Ft Lauderdale beach, Mikey headed home with me. After a warm shower he was good as new.

He was such a well behaved doggie. He watched TV with me...

....and took a long peaceful nap on my bed!

Mikey's first day ever at the beach was so much FUN. He did not fear the waves he just jumped inside and started running ahead of Anthony down the beach.

Once he lied down in the sand Mikey looked wistfully at the ocean and almost wishing he were swimming and jumping along the waves.

Our reunion

This is a video I made of my reunion with my cousin Anthony. We could not believe all of the things we shared without knowing it. He gave me some AMAZING gifts but the greatest gift of all was getting to know him better. I feel very lucky right now. The joy that I feel is indescribable because I know we will now be lifelong friends. I had a wonderful time creating this video and I hope you ALL enjoy watching it.

Finally!

After many years of communicating back and forth, Anthony and I finally got to meet. He was truly moved by the gift I gave him. It seems we have that LOVE for family in common. I was so happy to finally spend time with him. I look forward to visiting him up north and spending more time together. We met at 4 pm in an outdoor cafe and I did not get home until 11:30 pm. I laughed so hard my cheeks hurt and i had a HYENA headache. LOL!

Treasured Times accordion mini album

I know what you must be asking yourself.... Wow, 3 videos in one day?! What can I say once I realized how easy movie making was I got hooked. This is the last one for today though. I need to get some REST. This mini album I created for my cousin Anthony who is coming to Florida to visit me. A little back story, though.... I have never met this cousin in person before. My mother and aunt met him while in New York. Blue skies will usher in the first of what I hope to be many more REUNIONS with that side of my family.

On December 11th our cruise ship, the Norwegian Sun, took us to Belize City and from there we took a tour to the Mayan Ruins at ALTUN HA. This is what we experienced. Enjoy!

It was a Wii Christmas

This Christmas was a very merry one for my niece and nephew. They received the elusive Nintendo Wii!!!

I am happy to be ushering in a NEW year with a new blog. I just returned from a glorious Caribbean cruise aboard the Norwegian Sun. This photo was taken while holding one of my favorite magazines after a day of enjoying the sun in the Bahamas. To all of those who wonder about the beautiful BLUE waters behind me.... They were ice COLD. The temperature was the only way I realized what time of year it was in this part of the world. Thanks to my friend Melina I decided to upgrade to this new blog and with some help I may even begin Vlogging.
